On Wednesday, CHS junior Max Nelson read a story to Lincoln Elementary students for Golden Hour! Max read to a 2nd-grade class taught by his sister, Miss Nelson. The ATEC Academy, in conjunction with the Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce, hosted manufacturing day on Friday, Oct 3.
Over 250 students went through the experience and were able to interact with community leaders. Students were surprised to hear about opportunities available to them, and being able to bridge those school/industry gaps helps keep Aberdeen thriving.
