The fellowship is a new national professional learning opportunity designed to support school leaders and K-12 students as they navigate the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence in public education.
Board, Golz and Jensen will represent South Dakota at a three-day leadership residency, which will take place July 17-19 in Boston, Mass., alongside the America’s Youth AI Festival, during the nation’s 250th anniversary celebration!

Established in 1911, old Central High School got its name from its central location and is now the current site of the Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department.
In 2004, classes began in the new Central High School, located at the corner of South Roosevelt Street and Melgaard Road!

CHS Senior Taryn Hermansen was named AA Field MVP of the SDHSAA State Track and Field Meet in Sioux Falls this weekend.
She won her second consecutive state championship in shot put with a State Meet record throw of 47’ 3”.
She also placed 3rd in the discus!

Kyson Fayant defends his state title in the 300m Hurdles, setting a new meet record of 37.87 in qualifying.
Kyson finishes his high school career as ALL-TIME record holder in the state of South Dakota with a time of 37.77.
