Did you know?
Established in 1911, old Central High School got its name from its central location and is now the current site of the Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department.
In 2004, classes began in the new Central High School, located at the corner of South Roosevelt Street and Melgaard Road!
The School Board also recognized Girls State Golf Team Champions Olivia Braun, Genevieve Golz, Chloe Vikander, Emma Dohrer, Kyley Wirebaugh and Carli Withers. Congratulations! #GoEagles #AberdeenPublicSchools 💙🦅💛

Congratulations to CHS senior Olivia Braun who defended her state title to become a Back To Back State Medalist in AA golf! Olivia capped off a dominating senior year with a come-from-behind win on the 2nd day of the tournament. Way to SOAR Olivia!!

MVP! MVP! MVP! CHS Senior Taryn Hermansen was named AA Field MVP of the SDHSAA State Track and Field Meet in Sioux Falls this weekend.
She won her second consecutive state championship in shot put with a State Meet record throw of 47’ 3”.
She also placed 3rd in the discus!
Congrats Taryn way to SOAR!

STATE CHAMPION ALERT!! Kyson Fayant defends his state title in the 300m Hurdles, setting a new meet record of 37.87 in qualifying.
Kyson finishes his high school career as ALL-TIME record holder in the state of South Dakota with a time of 37.77.
Congrats Kyson on finishing an outstanding career for the Golden Eagles!
