The middle school tennis dual at Watertown has been postponed (4-18). A makeup date has not been set.

Aberdeen Central v Watertown Track and Field dual will be held on April 22 starting at 4:00 at the Brownell Activities Complex. Middle School and High School athletes will be competing.


The Golden Eagle Track Team will not be travelling to Watertown for the Watoma Relays on April 19. The event has been cancelled due to track conditions.

Softball News: Today's game (4-16) at SF Roosevelt has been rescheduled on April 19. Game time is 4:00 and 6:00.
The game scheduled on April 18 vs Washington has relocated to the dome. Varsity game time is 4:00 with JV to follow.


Attention Golden Eagle Athletes: Sanford sports physical dates have been set! If you need a sports physical for the 2024-25 sports seasons, July 18 and August 1 walk in clinics will be accepting patients.


The Middle School Track Meet scheduled for April 18 has been cancelled.

Earlier this month, the four orchestra directors went around to all elementary schools to talk to the fourth-grade students about signing up for fifth grade orchestra! Mr. Berns brought high school students along to play for them. At the end of the tour, the high school students enjoyed some recess time with the students at Mike Miller! #AberdeenPublicSchools #GoEagles










Earlier this week at Aberdeen Central, Ms. Landenberger's Regional Indian Studies class had Jaeden Shaving, a student at NSU studying History and the Lakota language, teach the students Lakota through a game of Simon says, or Simon heye in Lakota!




This morning, the Simmons Middle School International Club got to hear from Dominika Blum, a community member who is originally from Poland, and her husband, John, an alum of SMS! Blum shared her experiences, and even taught students a few Polish words! Thank you for visiting!





The Coin Wars Fundraiser is taking place this week at Central High School! Students and teachers can donate loose change in their advocate academy bucket to raise money for CHS FOR Club. The winning academy will receive a super-secret prize for all the students and teachers in that academy! Drop off your donation through Friday, April 12—before school and during lunch in the commons, or after school in B110!




Representatives from Aberdeen Central's FOR Club donated their food pantry drive items earlier this week. They were able to donate 230 items to the Salvation Army Food Pantry to be used for meals and food packs for the Aberdeen area community! #AberdeenPublicSchools #GoEagles
