Congratulations to our October 2026 Caught in the Act winners, Katie Blocker and Tammy Gardner!
Blocker, 5th grade teacher at O.M. Tiffany, has been recognized in the category of being there for others.
She was nominated by OMT 3rd grade teacher Jessica Norman, who wrote, “Katie helped in my classroom when she didn’t have to! She stepped in and I appreciate it very much!”

Gardner, SPED preschool/autism teacher at Lincoln Elementary, has been recognized in the category of being there for others.
She was nominated by Lincoln SPED preschool teacher Sydney Hepperle, who wrote, “She is always willing to help other people out without hesitation. Whether it is an ear to listen or an extra hand with students, she is there!”
Has a co-worker gone above and beyond to help you or make your day better? Nominate them for Caught in the Act! Pick up a nomination form in your school’s office and return it to Wendy Miller, human resources receptionist, in the District Service Center!
