Congratulations to our February 2026 Caught in the Act winners, Kayla Freeman and Jordyn Knecht!
Freeman, Resource Room Teacher at Simmons Elementary, has been recognized in the categories of being there for others and being a team player.
She was nominated by Simmons SLP Abby Doney, who wrote, “When another team member was gone, Kayla stepped in to help with an IEP meeting. She is such a great team member and an amazing advocate for students!”
Knecht, Kindergarten Teacher at Mike Miller Elementary, has been recognized in the category of making someone’s day.
She was nominated by Mike Miller Second Grade Teacher Rachelle Ball, who wrote, “Thanks for being flexible with your schedule and switching art times with me!”
