Congratulations to our November 2025 Caught in the Act winners, Grace Nelson and Ben Schnell!
Nelson, second-grade teacher at Lincoln Elementary, has been recognized in the category of choosing a great attitude.
She was nominated by Elementary Instructional Coach/Coordinator Bailey Mohr, who wrote, “Grace took time during recess to help a young student during a tough moment. She is such a positive role model for kids!”
Schnell, Director of Operations for Aberdeen Public Schools, has been recognized in the category of making someone’s day.
He was nominated by Simmons Middle School PE/Health Teacher Cassidy Neer, who wrote, “Thank you for accommodating a request that could have easily been a burden. Your ability to appreciate the little things, even when your plate is full, is unmatched. Thank you!"
