ABERDEEN, S.D. – Aberdeen area students are encouraged to nominate a teacher who has made a difference in their lives for the 2025 Teacher Appreciation Awards. 

The annual Teacher Appreciation Awards were created six years ago by Aberdeen Firefighters Local 446 to honor area teachers who have gone above and beyond for their students.  

Winners are announced in August at an awards presentation at the Brown County Fair. 

Nominations may be made by any Aberdeen area resident on this Google doc.
