Happy National School Lunch Week!

Oct. 9-13 is National School Lunch Week across the country and at Aberdeen Public Schools.

Since 1962, National School Lunch Week has been highlighting the positive impact on learning and overall well-being.

Nationally, this year’s theme is “Level Up with School Lunch,” illustrating the importance of a healthy school lunch to a student’s success both in and out of the classroom.

Nationwide, nearly 30 million students enjoy healthy school lunches every day, according to the School Nutrition Association
