Good afternoon SMS parents! Remember, the fall sports kick-off meeting is tomorrow night (7/27/23) at 7:00pm at Central High School. If your student is interested in a fall sport, you should attend this meeting to stay informed.

Aberdeen Central High School schedule changes for the 23-24 school year will be allowed one class at a time. Here is the schedule for students wanting to make a schedule change:
May 22nd - 26th - Class of 2027 (Current 8th graders) can request schedule changes
If you submit a schedule change before the allowed time for your class, it will not be completed until the week your class is scheduled.
Below is the link to the schedule change form that can also be found on the Student Services webpage. If students have a change to request, please use the online form and DO NOT email your assigned School Counselor to make the change. Once you submit your online request, your assigned School Counselor will email you with your options.

End of the year announcements for Simmons Middle School:
Chromebook check-in will be Monday, May 22 for all SMS students. Please make sure your student has their chromebook, case and charger with them on Monday to make the check-in process smooth and to avoid any additional fees.
There will be an awards ceremony on Friday, May 26 at 8:30am for Simmons Middle School students. Parents should have received a letter of notification if your student is receiving an award.
8th Grade Recognition will begin at approximately 10:00am Friday, May 26. Families of 8th grade students are welcome to attend.
The last day of school is Friday, May 26. Students are dismissed at 11:45am.
DON'T FORGET! Our incoming 6th grade students for next year are invited to Come & Chill With Us on Thursday, May 18th from 5:30pm - 6:30pm!
