After learning about the parts of the brain, 7th grade Medical Detective students designed, built, and tested helmet prototypes with hard-boiled eggs as their test subjects. Almost all the subjects survived testing!

The students had a unique opportunity to taste honey straight from the hive, connecting their learning experience to the real world. This hands-on approach not only engaged their senses but also deepened their understanding of the significance of bees in our ecosystem.
As our students explored the world of beekeeping, they developed a sweet appreciation for the hard work that goes into producing honey.
