🎉 Happy Special Education Week!

Today we celebrate inclusion, teamwork, and the unique strengths of every student. Let’s appreciate the students, teachers, and staff who work hard every day to make our school a supportive and welcoming place for all.

💙 Everyone learns differently—and that’s something to celebrate!

6th graders in Mrs. Drees's language arts classroom enjoyed a relaxing but exciting read-aloud, Alone by Megan E. Freeman, as part of their themed survival unit. What a great way to kickstart the week after a break!

Right before we headed home early due to the blizzard (and just in time for Thanksgiving break) we wrapped up November with a sweet reward for great attendance!

Our top three homerooms with the highest attendance percentages earned the chance to select one student to pie a staff member in the face… and they did not disappoint!

👏 Congratulations to Mrs. Drees, Mrs. Stolp, and Mrs. Jark’s homerooms for winning the November Attendance Challenge!

And a HUGE shoutout to our amazing staff members who took one for the team: SRO Olson, Ms. Leitheiser, and Ms. Thompson. THANK YOU for being such great sports and for helping us show students that showing up matters (even if it means taking a pie to the face)!
