8th Grade Automation and Robotics Windmill projects. Students needed to incorporate two mechanisms to work simultaneously to make their windmill turn.

8th grade boys basketball players who usually practice at CCL with Coach Grewe will be practicing at Holgate MS today (Wednesday). After practice pickup will be at HMS.
Cheer on the Golden Eagles this week! We have middle school basketball, gymnastics, and wrestling at home. Check the events section of the website for details.
Just a reminder…the Aberdeen Public Schools will be CLOSED on Monday, January 17, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday and staff development activities.

We have completed our 3rd Quarter of the 2021-2022 school year at SMS. You may view your student’s grades on your Parent Portal account. You may also view your student’s report cards on your student’s portal. Ask your student to log-in to their account as you may need to enter through a security page. If you have questions on the portal, you may contact the school at 725-7900.
Once you are in your Parent Portal or your student's portal, on the left side you will see a “Reports” tab. Click on this tab, choose 3rd Quarter Report Card, and your student's Report Card will load.

All 6th grade Simmons Middle School students will present their annual Holiday Concert on Tuesday, December 7th, 2021.
All 6th grade students for general music, 6th grade band, and 6th grade orchestra will be performing at 5:15 pm. The front doors will be unlocked at 4:45pm, and students should arrive before 5:00. The students’ preparation, etiquette, and performance will be a significant part of their quarter grades. Students will be expected to dress nicely for their group performances. Let Mr. Panerio, Mrs. Hansen, or Ms. Stubbe know in advance if this presents a real difficulty for your child.
The students are VERY excited to perform for their friends and family this Holiday Season! We hope to see you all there!
