In the first meet of the season, Allie ran hard to a second-place finish with a time of 14:50 over 4K. According to Athletic.net, this time is only the second sub 15-minute 4K recorded on Athletic.net for CHS. She ran smart, stretched her leads out when needed and ran a very impressive race to kick off her season!

Our 6th grade Language Arts students had a blast during a library scavenger hunt! They worked in teams to explore the shelves, discover different sections, and learn how to find books and resources. It was a fun way to get comfortable with the library while practicing teamwork!

Our 6th graders put their detective hats on in Language Arts today! Using inference skills, they examined clues and pieced together evidence to figure out "Who Kidnapped the Principal?" Students had to read between the lines, and back up their ideas with proof from the text.
