This week, we have two Golden Eagle Athletes of the Week: Congratulations to Allison Neitzel and Esten Foss! Allison went 4-0 on Friday to win 1st place at our home tournament, and Esten was the Lee Wolf Champ and 2-0 in ESD Duals! Great job, Golden Eagles! 💙🦅💛 #GoEagles #AberdeenPublicSchools

This week, we’re encouraging our students to dream big and start thinking about their futures and post-secondary options. As part of National School Counseling Week, we also want to take a moment to recognize our amazing school counselor, Mrs. Samson, whose hard work and creativity made this week possible and fun!
To kick things off, NSU joined us during all lunches today so students could stop by, ask questions, and explore NSU as a post-secondary option. We even got a visit from Thunder who helped make the day extra fun! 🐺🎓

Parents, please help us ensure students are dressed appropriately for winter weather each day. We have now had two unexpected fire alarms that required us to evacuate the building in cold temperatures. During emergency situations, students may need to remain outside longer than planned, and appropriate clothing is important for their safety and well-being. We are asking families to avoid sending students in shorts, t-shirts, or slip-on sandals during winter conditions. While we understand middle school students do not go outside for recess, they still need to be prepared in the event an evacuation becomes necessary. With colder temperatures expected the next several weeks, we appreciate your support in making sure students arrive dressed for the weather.
