We got to make instruments out of recycled materials to wrap up our reading unit on expressing ourselves. Today Mrs. Bunsness let us bring our instruments to Music and play them along with a tune!

This week the fifth graders worked on measuring volume. They had to build a zoo animal out of boxes, then measure the volume of each box to find the total volume of their animal. They also made a poster for their animal.
Simmons 5th graders were working on volume in math and made volume zoo animals.
