The Aberdeen Public Schools will dismiss at NOON today. The YDC will NOT be able to pick up students today. The Boys & Girls Club, Rideline, and our school buses WILL pick up students at noon.


The tennis match scheduled on April 1 has been postponed to May 5. Aberdeen Central will host Milbank at 2:00 on the HMS courts.

Check out this group of SMS 8th graders who attended the 2025 Women in Science conference, held every spring on the NSU campus. They had the opportunity to listen to many professional women in STEM fields speak about their experiences. A huge thank you to this cooperative effort to help inspire the next generation of female scientists!







🎉🏆 Congratulations to Mrs. Leidholt for winning our Staff vs. Student Free Throw Competition! Our students gave an impressive effort, but our staff proved unstoppable and got the trophy! Plus, we collected nearly 300 food items for our food drive. How awesome! 👏💙



Wednesday Morning Chess & MathCounts – On Wednesday mornings before homeroom, our MathCounts team spends time playing chess! It’s a fun way to build strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. All are welcome to join and challenge their peers! ♟️📊

Make plans to attend the final public performance of Simmons Singers at Center Stage, Aberdeen Central's home competition. Vocal jazz starts at 9:30, Holgate kicks off the show choirs at 12:55pm, and Simmons is at 1:10 pm.
There are great show choirs performing all day and the Finals for all high school groups will begin at 5:30 pm.
