Congratulations to this week’s Golden Eagle Athlete of the Week, Kenadi Withers!
Kenadi had a phenomenal first weekend of the basketball season. She sparked the team’s offense in both games on Friday and Saturday and was relentless on the boards, grabbing a total of 16 rebounds over the weekend. On Saturday, she recorded a double-double in the game against Rapid City Stevens. Her effort and energy were noticeable, making her a key contributor to the team’s strong start to the season!

SMS 7th grade orchestra students are adding decorations on their instruments for tomorrow's concerts! ❄️🎻 6th Grade Concert begins at 2:15 PM and the 7th/8th Grade Concert begins at 7 PM. Each in the SMS Gymnasium. 🎶 We hope to see you there!

Times for girls and boys wrestling have been adjusted due to road conditions. Girls will wrestle in Spearfish at 8:00cst. Boys will wrestle in Rapid City at 5:30cst. Times are approximate - GO EAGLES!

We will continue to monitor weather conditions to make decisions regarding travel for the RC tournament.

Last week, 64 Golden Eagles and 10 coaches attended the CHS Speed & Explosive Training at the Aberdeen Dome! The training, open to students in grades 6-12, is led by Coach Jake Arechigo. The goal is to create an environment where student-athletes can continually develop and ultimately achieve their full athletic potential.
CHS Speed & Explosive Training will also be held Dec. 12, 19 and Jan. 2. All sessions take place from 6:30-7:30 a.m. at the Aberdeen Dome.
