The final projects for the 8th grade Automation and Robotics classes were car washes and carnival rides!
Check the Rube Goldberg machines created by the 6th grade Design and Modeling students! They needed to create a chain reaction using at least four simple machines.
There are still limited quantities of the Simmons Middle School yearbook left to purchase. They are available at the office during homeroom only for $10. Yearbooks will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.

6th graders working together to create children’s books that implement all the fictional elements learned this year.
A few seniors visited SMS in their caps and gowns. It’s nice to see “our” grads! We are proud of them!
Chromebook check-in will be Wednesday, May 18 for all SMS students. Please make sure your student has their chromebook, case and charger with them that day to make the check-in process smooth and to avoid any fees.
There will be an awards ceremony on Tuesday, May 24 at 8:30am for Simmons Middle School students. Parents should have received a letter of notification if your student is receiving an award.
8th Grade Recognition will begin at 9:45 on Tuesday, May 24. Parents are welcome to attend.
