Middle school golf and tennis practice have been canceled today. Middle school football will practice inside at Holgate, but will be done at 4:30pm.
As we near the end of the first week of school, we have a few items to share. Please fill out the free/reduced lunch application if you think your family might qualify. Simmons 6th grade students should plan to attend WEB at Simmons Middle School on Friday, August 19 from 9am-Noon. This event is for students only, and we request that students do not bring anything with them to participate in WEB.
6th grade open house is Monday, August 22 from 5:30-6:30pm. Parents and 6th graders are invited to pick up schedules, attend a short meeting in the gymnasium, complete chromebook paperwork, and set up lockers. All students must return the last page of the technology agreement with parent signature, pay the $25 technology supply fee and any outstanding technology fees prior to chromebook checkout. The form is available at https://5il.co/1foca. If you need a paper copy of the form, they will be available at 6th grade open house. Parents may complete the form and pay the fee Monday night, and chromebook checkout for 6th graders will be during class the first week of school.

SMS 6th graders should plan to attend WEB orientation at Simmons Middle School Friday, August 19 from 9am - noon. Students should wear comfortable clothes and leave all supplies and other materials at home. Our 8th grade WEB leaders will give tours, answer questions, and help students practice opening lockers.
