Today, sixth-graders from Holgate Middle School and Simmons Middle School participated in a MathCounts Competition! About 100 mathletes from area schools competed in the event, which was hosted by Holgate! #AberdeenPublicSchools #GoEagles







The 7th/8th grade boys basketball meeting has updated to Dec 12. Parents and athletes are asked to attend the meeting at the HMS theatre at 5:30

Any 7th or 8th grade boy interested in playing basketball should attend the informational meeting at HMS (theatre) on Dec 11 at 5:30. If you cannot attend, please contact matt.osbourne@k12.sd.us

Congratulations to our Students of the Month for October!



This month's speaker for the SMS International Club was Sister Myra Remily. Sister Myra was a missionary in Mexico and Bolivia for 15 years. She learned to speak Spanish and afterwards assisted Hispanic immigrants in the Aberdeen, SD area. She even interpreted during the birth of several children! Thank you for sharing and visiting our club, Sister Myra!

Our staff participated in a costume contest today. Congratulations to the Oldies for winning best group, to Ms. Leitheiser as Life Handing Out Lemons for winning best individual, and to Mrs. Conklin and Ms. William for best overall as Buzz and Woody!
