Today we either dressed up like a surfer or a biker to remind us of the importance of staying active and playing outdoors to stay healthy! Our class had more on Team Surfer than Team Biker!

Red Ribbon Week Dress Up Day 1 - “Shades of Kindness”
Today we wore different colors by grade level to represent that kindness comes in all colors! 2nd grade was in charge of yellow!

Mrs. Aman came in today and read “Fabulous Floyd.” It’s a nonfiction story about a flamingo that shows perseverance after going through a couple of surgeries!
Today we had our 2nd visit from one of our NSU basketball player volunteers as part of the Leaders are Readers program. He read The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin and helped us make our own unique and colorful pumpkins!
First grade had so much fun last week painting gourds with their fifth grade buddies!
We were visited by our 2nd NSU basketball player as part of the “Leaders are Readers” program. We got to know each other a little better today!
We got to meet our NSU Basketball Buddies today, Mr. Connor and Mr. Ethan! They will be joining our class throughout the year!
Mrs. Bossert's Kinder Kids welcomed Maddy and Brynn into our classroom this morning! These NSU Basketball players helped out during our Learning Center time. Go Wolves! 🐺 ♥️💛
We had a great time exploring Native American games with the Dacotah Prairie Museum!
The Dacotah Prairie Museum came to visit 2nd grade today and brought some fun Native American games for us to try!

NSU basketball player are participating in “Leaders are Readers”. She came to meet us today! We are excited to have her back later in the month for some reading fun!
Some 2nd graders got to explore an example of being a producer as we became our own snack-mix making assembly lines today!
