
First grade had an awesome time creating a fact family neighborhood with our friends Josh and Devon from NSU!





Mr. Roso’s class has been learning how to compare decimals. Today, we built ships and timed them to be able to compare the decimals and see who had the fastest time.


It's #NationalPrincipalsMonth, and we're highlighting each of our principals throughout the month! Today, we're featuring Kim Aman. Mrs. Aman is principal of Simmons Elementary, and she has worked at #AberdeenPublicSchools for 18 years. Thank you for all you do!

Today we either dressed up like a surfer or a biker to remind us of the importance of staying active and playing outdoors to stay healthy! Our class had more on Team Surfer than Team Biker!

Red Ribbon Week Dress Up Day 1 - “Shades of Kindness”
Today we wore different colors by grade level to represent that kindness comes in all colors! 2nd grade was in charge of yellow!

Mrs. Aman came in today and read “Fabulous Floyd.” It’s a nonfiction story about a flamingo that shows perseverance after going through a couple of surgeries!



Today we had our 2nd visit from one of our NSU basketball player volunteers as part of the Leaders are Readers program. He read The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin and helped us make our own unique and colorful pumpkins!



First grade had so much fun last week painting gourds with their fifth grade buddies!





We were visited by our 2nd NSU basketball player as part of the “Leaders are Readers” program. We got to know each other a little better today!


We got to meet our NSU Basketball Buddies today, Mr. Connor and Mr. Ethan! They will be joining our class throughout the year!



Mrs. Bossert's Kinder Kids welcomed Maddy and Brynn into our classroom this morning! These NSU Basketball players helped out during our Learning Center time. Go Wolves! 🐺 ♥️💛
