It was an exciting day, as we got to wear our tie-dyed shirts for the first time!! We might've underestimated just how awesome it was going to look to have us all sporting the same patriotic look, and we are glad we'll have the opportunity to have a few more coordinated wears in before summer break is upon us. HUUUUUUGE thanks to our PTA and Student Council for funding this project!

As unbelievable as it is to say, we have just four full weeks of school remaining before our final 1.5 days on May 18th & 19th!
In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence this summer, we’re taking this time to explore our nation’s history. We’ve divided the years into four different eras and will move through one era each week during our remaining full weeks of school.
Because of this, we made the decision to forego our traditional ABC Countdown to Summer. I’ll admit... It’s been both surprising and a little heartwarming to hear so many students asking when it would start or why we weren’t doing it. It doesn’t take long for a tradition to take hold!
As a compromise, we’ve put together a themed dress-up calendar to go along with our “America’s Eras Tour.” We intentionally kept the days simple and manageable, knowing how busy this time of year can be.
As always, participation is completely optional... No pressure at all if your child chooses not to participate in some or any of the days!
