Spring 2026 retirees

ABERDEEN, S.D. – Sixteen individuals will retire this spring from the Aberdeen Public School District—with a combined years of service totaling more than 400 years.

The group of employees includes teachers, administrators and service staff from across the school district.

Individuals who are retiring this spring are listed below, along with their years of service:

·         Kendall Hoellein, O.M. Tiffany Grade 4 Teacher: 36 years

·         James Panerio, Simmons Middle School Music Teacher: 33 Years

·         Janet Simon, Student Data Specialist: 31 Years

·         Dawn Seiler, Athletic Director: 28 Years

·         Jacque Osborn, Network Administrator: 27 Years

·         Carole Weigel, JDC Teacher: 25 Years

·         Brad Naasz, Central High School Business Teacher: 25 Years

·         Linda White, TLC Teacher: 23 Years

·         Julie Jorde, Holgate Middle School Librarian: 22 Years

·         Mike Neubert, May Overby Principal: 22 Years

·         Rhonda Neubert: Holgate Middle School Computer Teacher: 21 Years

·         Kristi Karst, May Overby Library EA: 21 Years

·         Rachel Hoops, May Overby General EA: 21 Years

·         Gwen Holinka, Occupational Therapist: 19 Years

·         Barb Nygaard, CHS Special Education Teacher: 19 years
