Congratulations to this week’s Golden Eagle Athlete of the Week, Rakyrah Wallace! Rakyrah was one of 9 athletes to qualify for the Girls Wrestling State Tournament. She pulled the upset to win the championship and was instrumental in helping the Golden Eagles win the team region 3 championship! #GoEagles #AberdeenPublicSchools 💙🦅💛

Our Educator's Rising Chapter had an amazing 2 days at the state conference.
On Sunday our 8 competitors put their best foot forward and competed in front of judges. On Monday, we got to hear an inspirational, engaging keynote speaker and the students were able to attend up to 3 breakout sessions and enjoy lunch in the Black Hills State University lunchroom to see what college life was like.
Then we were able to cheer for our chapter as they won the awards below.

Yesterday was another exciting day at CHS for some of our Golden Eagle Seniors!
A representative from Minnesota State University Moorhead made a special trip to Aberdeen to award Ameila Rife the Presidential Honors Scholarship. Amelia is one of eight students given this award, amongst the hundreds who applied. Congrats Amelia!
Alex Tarver was awarded the Accepting the Challenge of Excellence (ACE) Award and scholarship from the Aberdeen Exchange Club. With this selection he will now move on to the District competition where he will compete for another scholarship opportunity. Congrats Alex!
Grace Steger was awarded the Youth of the Year Award and scholarship from the Aberdeen Exchange Club. With this selection she will now move on to the National competition where she will complete for another scholarship opportunity. Congrats Grace!

Laukia Gundewar became the 7th freshmen to qualify in school history! Amna George won Inform!




Acapella Choir was honored to work with Dr. Michael Culloton and the Concordia Choir as well as perform with them at their first stop on the 2026 domestic tour!
Three of our 2023 alumni, Allison Serfling, Carly Comstock, and Peyton Moench are in the choir!
