Today in Ms. Landenberger’s Regional Indian Studies class at CHS, #AberdeenPublicSchools Indian Education Coordinator Gordon Tree Top gave a lesson about Traditional Medicines, how to use them and why. They also smudged outside (burning of sage, sweetgrass and cedar).

Students in Mrs. Frericks got in the spirit by reading children's Halloween books to identify poetic devices.
CHS Staff really got into some Halloween spirit today! Each Academy/teacher group had the opportunity to dress up and submit a picture to be judged. The winners were the PE department as the Average Joes and the A2 academy as Dominoes. Way to go CHS staff!

Mr. Konda's Honors Debate class is off debating if the US federal government should forgive all federal student loan debt.
Mr. Appl's 10th grade Language Arts class held their mock trial over the novel that they were reading called "Lord of the Flies". What an awesome learning opportunity for students - great job!
