FALL PLAY ANNOUNCEMENT!
Auditions are right around the corner for our first show "Play On!" by Rick Abbot. This play tells the hilarious story of a theater group trying desperately to put on a play in spite of maddening interference from a haughty author who keeps revising the script. Act I is a rehearsal of the dreadful show, Act II is the near disastrous dress rehearsal, and the final act is the actual performance in which anything that can go wrong does.
Information Meeting will take place in the drama classroom on Tuesday August 19th after school and auditions will be held Wednesday August 20th in the Thomas F. Kelly Theatre after school. Performances will be Sept. 30, Oct. 2 & 3 at 7:00pm in the Thomas F. Kelly Theatre.

After 4 weeks of practicing 5 hours a day the Golden Eagle Marching band premiered their field show for their parents! Come out September 5th at 7pm when the Marching Band premiers in full regalia!
Central HS teachers were really DIGGING IN today... first to the data and then to the backyard BBQ! A huge thank you to the Central PTA and CHS admin. for the burgers, brats, salad, chips and goodies! We are ready to dig into the 2025-2026 school year. Go EAGLES!

CHS Parents/Guardians can go to the Student Services Webpage to access the links to sign up for their student's graduating class email listserv. Parents/Guardians who are signed up on these listservs will receive a copy of emails that are sent to students of that class, that pertain to important school information.
Just go to the Student Services website below to find the link for the graduating class year you want to be a member of and follow the instructions from there.

Our 25-26 Eagle Squad Leaders were in this week for their leader training to learn all about the fun activities they will be doing with their freshmen orientation groups! We are all excited to welcome in the Class of 2029 on Monday morning!
For Amna George, being part of the Aberdeen Central Speech and Debate team has brought national success—and it has also given her a supportive group of friends.
“I feel like I found a community here,” said George, a senior at CHS.
George placed 4th in expository this summer at the National Speech and Debate Tournament. She is the fifth person from CHS to place semifinals or higher in expository at nationals. Congratulations!
