Central High School is almost ready for students! Our custodial crew has been working diligently all summer to get the building clean, safe, and welcoming. Thank you, custodians!!

Students 9-12 may come anytime during the above times to get their ID, Computer and Class Schedule.

Lily Williams is the national runner up in Big Question Debate! She is the highest placing student in a debate event at nationals for our school!
Abiah George is the National Student of the Year Runner up!!!
Kayla Waltman places 9th out of 272 entries in Informative speaking at the National Speech and Debate Tournament! She is the highest placing main speech competitor in our programs history!
The SD High School Activities Assn has recognized 9 of our athletic teams with the academic team award. Congratulations Boys & Girls Basketball, Boys & Girls Tennis, Boys & Girls Track/Field, Girls Golf, Gymnastics and Softball teams!

CHS Speech and Debate competitors and coaches are heading to NATIONALS in sunny Phoenix, AZ!!! They left bright and early this morning and have officially made it to Nebraska. Safe travels and best of luck to Coaches Konda and McNeil! Go Eagles!

SDHSAA State softball tournament AA championships at NSU Koehler Field. The Lincoln Patriots and Brookings Bobcats face off to be crowned the first ever state champions. Great job to all who participated and good luck to these two teams!

CHS music dept. is well-represented here at the SDHSAA State Softball tourney. Great job to those who performed the National Anthem: Carly Comstock sang at the A and B field, and Mr. Schutter’s instrumental ensemble performed at the AA field. Way to go!!
SD state softball tourney is officially under way! CHS was lucky enough to have teacher and NSU Hall of Famer Deb Finnesand throw out the first pitch at NSU Koehler Field. It was even a strike! Congrats, Mrs. Finnesand!
