Our gymnastics team had thier best showing of the season at SF Lincoln getting 6th with 132.425 points. Junior Regan Lust was 7th on floor and 10th in All Around. They are at home Thu and host the ESD tournament Saturday! Come out and cheer them on.

CHS theater has been hard at work the past few weeks putting together our entry for the SDHSAA State One-Act Festival. They are bringing to life the classic Greek tragedy Antigone, told through a modern lens. Come support all the work these students have put in onstage and backstage on Tuesday February 3rd at 7:00 pm at the Thomas F. Kelly Theatre. Donations accepted for admission. Antigone Now Synopsis: In the midst of a bombed-out city still feeling the aftershocks of war, the rebellious and intense Antigone defies her uncle to bury her disgraced brother. This contemporary response to the myth of Antigone brings powerful, modern prose to an ancient and universal story. Photos Included: Students rehearse a scene. Greek masks created by the students. The Golden Eagles were in Pierre yesterday for the East/West duals. The team went 2-1 beating Rapid City Stevens (60-9), Rapid City Central (49-25) but falling to Sturgis (21-49). 2026 SDHSAA ALL-STATE BAND RESULTS
Congratulations to this week's Golden Eagle Athlete of the Week, Maria Mathern!

Maria is a JV wrestler who unexpectedly was told she would be our varsity starter against Brandon Valley. She was losing most of the match, but came back to pin her opponent with 2 seconds left! This crucial win helped us win the dual. She also won the 125 JV division the next day in Harrisburg!
