earning 1st Place finish in both parade & field competition at the March to the Meridian in Yankton on Saturday. The band also earned the Field Sweepstakes Award for the highest score at the competition.

On Saturday, October 5th, the Aberdeen Central High School Golden Eagles Marching Band won the SPIRIT OF THE FESTIVAL award. This award is given to 1 band who is judged for citizenship, good conduct, cooperation, and friendliness by the members of the Festival of Bands central committee. WHAT YOU DO MATTERS.
