CHS students and staff have been competing in the Olympic Reading Challenge, and the Aberdeen Curling Club provided equipment for the display.

Tyler Bain was selected as the Touchstone Energy Scholar for the week for February 2nd-6th. He was nominated by school counselor, Karlie Cooper, for his excellent work ethic, character and CHS incolvement. Tyler received a $250 scholarship and will be featured on Dakota News Now during the 6 p.m. news on Monday, February 2 and again on the Dakota News Now morning news Tuesday, February 3 between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. Congratulations Tyler! CHS is proud of you!
Lee Wolf Girls Wrestling Tournament tonight in Golden Eagles Arena at 4pm. The girls are coming off two wins in Watertown against the Arrows and Harrisburg.

For Central High School’s Show Choir, there’s no place like home—this year’s Eagle Express show features a magical trip through Aberdeen’s Storybook Land and the Land of Oz! 🚂🌈
Director Susan Appl said they initially planned a different show, but then fellow Director Jenna Hansen mentioned it’s the 125th anniversary of “The Wonderful World of Oz.” Choreographer Kevin Chase kept coming back to the idea, and eventually they decided on a Storybook Land theme that incorporated the Land of Oz.
“It’s coincidental that it’s also the 50th anniversary of Storybook Land this year,” Appl said. “The stars all aligned.”
Plan to attend an upcoming Eagle Express performance at the CHS Kelly Theatre:
• Valentine’s Bistro: Feb. 16 and 17 at 7 p.m. both nights • March 14: Center Stage at 10 a.m.

Last night our Varsity Marvel Rivals team took first place in our divisional tournament. We are going into the State tournament with an undefeated season and #1 in the North East Division!! Way to go Eagles!! Now on to STATE!! 🦅🦅🦅
