ABERDEEN, S.D. – The public is encouraged to come out and support Aberdeen Central High School student performers at fine arts performances coming up at CHS.

Central students will present Seussical the Musical at 7 p.m. April 30 and May 1, and 2 p.m. May 2, in the CHS Kelly Theater. Cost is $6 for adults and $4 for students. Activity passes will be accepted.

CHS Theater has been collaborating with K.O. Library this month to promote the production. First, Zach Lopez led a recent acting workshop for students at K.O. Lee Library with the help of actors from Seussical the Musical.

Next up, CHS student actors Joey Johnson and Elsa Schiferl will sing "Notice Me Horton" this Saturday, April 25, at 10 a.m. at the library as part of its usual story time event, where they will read “Horton Hears a Who.”

CHS Pops Concert

Also coming up, the CHS Music Department will present the Pops and Popcorn Concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, featuring CHS Bands, Choirs, Orchestra, Vocal Jazz and Jazz Band.

Reserved seats will be sold for $10 each. Open bleacher seating will be sold the night of the concert.
