FOR Club students donate perishable food items to local organizations

At Simmons Middle School, we offer a variety of extra-curricular activities for students to participate in. Even as 6th graders, students can be involved in a variety of things. School sponsored sports that are available to 6th graders include cross country, gymnastics, golf, tennis, and wrestling. Additional sports that are available to students entering the 7th and 8th grades include volleyball, football, basketball, track, and cheer and dance.

We also offer a variety of clubs and organizations that students can join to strengthen their middle school experience. Groups include Youth Power, student senate, drama, Math Counts, jazz band, and show choir. Each of these organizations offers unique opportunities for students to get involved in their school and community. Extra-curricular activities can help students make new friends, broaden their horizons, and create memories that can last a life-time. Consider joining one no matter what grade you are in!
