Congratulations to our October 2023 Caught in the Act winners, Josh Carlson and Erin Gutjahr!
Mr. Carlson, social studies teacher at Simmons Middle School, has been recognized in the categories of being playful and choosing a great attitude.
He was nominated by SMS Assistant Principal Kelsey Scarborough, who wrote, “I appreciate your unfailingly positive attitude and your willingness to always go above and beyond for our students! We can always count on you!”
Mrs. Gutjahr, special education resource room teacher at May Overby Elementary School, has been recognized in the category of being there for others.
She was nominated by Jenn Anderson, special education resource room teacher at SMS, who wrote, “Thanks for being so helpful with getting my needed supplies for a reading program that had parts missing. You dropped everything to be there when I needed it!”
