Band students entering 7th & 8th grade may participate in a summer band program during the month of June. Rehearsals will be at Central High School from 10am-11am. Rehearsal dates are June 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 27, 28, and 29th. The month will culminate with a concert in Melgaard Park on June 29th. This is a free activity! If you are an incoming 6th grade band student, don't forget about Band Boot Camp at Simmons Middle School. Students will learn instrument assembly, maintenance, and the first few notes. Sessions will be in the band room at Simmons Middle the week of Aug. 7-11. Times are as follows:
Flute: 8:00-8:50am
Clarinet: 9:00-9:50am
Saxophone: 10:00-10:50am
Percussion: 11:00-11:50am
Trumpet & French Horn: 1:00-1:50pm
Trombone: 2:00-2:50pm
Baritone & Tuba: 3:00-3:50pm
