6th Grade Parents/Guardians 6th grade students should plan to attend WEB at Holgate Middle School on Friday, August 19th from 9:00 am-12:00 pm. Students will get a tour of the school, practice locker combinations, and meet other 6th graders. This event is for students only and we request that students do not bring anything with them to participate in WEB. 6th grade Open House is Monday, August 22nd from 5:30-6:30 pm. Parents/Guardians and 6th grade students are invited to attend a short meeting in the gymnasium, pick up schedules, purchase planners ($5), deposit lunch money, set up lockers, and pay the technology fee ($25). 6th Grade parents/guardians are encouraged to complete the technology user agreement form and pay the $25 technology fee at the 6th grade Open House on Monday night. All students must return the last page of the technology user agreement with parent/guardian signature and pay the $25 technology fee prior to Chromebook checkout. The form is available at https://5il.co/1foca. If you need a paper copy of the form, it will be available at the 6th grade Open House. Chromebooks will be checked out to 6th grade students during class within the first week of school. If you have any questions, please contact the school at (605) 725-7700.

The Athletic Boosters Meeting will be held on August 1 at 6:30pm at Mavericks. Come hear Justin Briese speak about joining the head coaching staff for the Golden Eagles. Also hear what projects the booster are currently working on and have input on future plans.

Attention Parents/Guardians/Students: HMS Student Chromebook Check-In is Wednesday, May 18th (TOMORROW). Please complete the following before coming to school: 1. Chromebook, case, and power cord are required to be returned. 2. Remove any labels, stickers, or notes applied to the Chromebook by the student. District applied labels should never be removed. 3. Charge Chromebooks to at least 80% 4. Clean out cases, remove shoulder strap, and place the shoulder strap in the front zipper pocket of the case. THANK YOU!!
