Today was DECADES DAY at HMS—and our students definitely dressed the part!
This morning, homerooms went face-to-face in a cup-stacking challenge! Congratulations to our winning homerooms who are one step closer to taking home the Golden Eagle Cup!

These students were selected in Mrs. Lechner's class while we started learning about the FISH Philosophy. The philosophies of: Be There, Play, Choose Your Attitude, and Make Their Day. We had all the 6th graders incorporate how they could utilize these philosophies to make their school days better for themselves and others!
7th grade students using NGSS Science and Engineering Practices to complete the "Marshmallow Challenge" where they needed to build the tallest tower to support a marshmallow using spaghetti, string, and tape.
