HMS Midterm Grades
We have completed our 2nd Quarter Midterm of the 2021-2022 school year. You may view your student’s midterm grades on your Parent Portal account. You may also view your student’s report cards on your student’s portal. Ask your student to log-in to their account as you may need to enter through a security page. If you have questions on the portal, you may contact Janet Simon at the District Service Center at 605-725-7133 or by email at Janet.Simon@k12.sd.us. Once you are in your Parent Portal or your students portal, on the left side you will see a “Reports” tab. Click on this tab, choose 2nd Mid-term Report Card, and your students Midterm Report Card will load.
Reminder that school will be dismissed tomorrow (Nov. 24) at 11:45 am. There will be No School on Thursday, November 25 & Friday, November 26.

The HMS PTA appreciates everyone that has sent in their Ken's & Kessler's receipts. We will have our final week run from November 22-December 3. The total overall winning homeroom from each grade will get breakfast pizza!

There will be a high school registration meeting for 8th grade parents and students on Nov. 30 at 7:00pm in the theater at Central High School. They will discuss the registration process and the variety of courses open to incoming freshmen.

Holgate Middle School Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, October 21 (4:00-9:00pm) and Friday, October 22 (8:00 am-1:00 pm). Conferences will be held in the following locations:
** 6th Grade Core Classes - Library
** 7th Grade Core Classes - 7th Commons Area
** 8th Grade Core Classes - Cafeteria
** Elective Classes: The FACS, Art, Industrial Technology, and Computer App teachers will be in their classrooms.
** Music Classes: Music teachers will be in their classrooms. Ms. Stubbe will only be available Friday from 8:00am-1:00pm.
**Health & P.E. Classes: Conferences for Health & P.E. will be held in the FACS commons area.
**Report cards will be available at the main entrance.
** The Book Fair will be located in the main entrance commons area.
