Mrs. Audra Griebel from the EROS Data Center visited Ms. Siebrasse's World Geography class to present on various jobs within the geographic field. She demonstrated to our class how myriad mapping agencies and geospatial techniques are utilized to display regions impacted by human activity. Thank you, Mrs. Griebel, for demonstrating the application and relevancy of geography in the real world!
Art Club's annual field trip was Friday, May 1 st! We went to Sioux Falls to the Washington Pavillion. There, students explored the fine art galleries, along with seeing how art was used to create engaging exhibits in the science exhibits as well!

Last weekend, our CHS NASA Drum Group performed at the community kickoff! On Friday, CHS held its own 250th celebration with the band performing and staff dressing up in patriotic attire!

Mrs. Ketterling, ATEC and CHS teacher, has had a big day today! She is SOAR staff of the week, her Educators Rising group delivered May Day baskets to all staff members at CHS and ATEC, and she had two of her Ed Rising students sign with their respective colleges as future teachers! Way to SOAR, Mrs. Ketterling!
