PreACT

The PreACT is offered to sophomore students only. Sophomores who are interested in signing up to take the PreACT test that will be given on Wednesday, February 23rd in the Auxiliary Gym (F102) beginning at 7:30 am, can sign-up on the link below.  Students should plan to arrive by 7:15am to get checked in, doors will close promptly at 7:30am. The cost is $16.00, which you are to pay the morning of the test, please make checks payable to CHS.

On test day, please bring a graphing calculator with you for the test. All questions on the Math test can be solved without a calculator; however, using a calculator on some questions may be helpful. (All scientific calculators are permitted. A four-function calculator is acceptable but not recommended.)

 

Taking the PreACT provides a practice opportunity for the ACT by helping you:

·         Identify your current academic readiness for college and career using your PreACT score report

·         Predict how you’ll perform on the ACT after an additional year of learning

·         Determines skills you can improve based on your performance

·         Explore how your career aspirations align with your interests
