Simmons Elementary School
Our school has a long and proud tradition of
service to the
Aberdeen community.
Simmons Elementary was erected in 1955. A
million dollar addition was constructed in 1989 that provided a
state of the art media library center, two computer labs, music and
art rooms.
Simmons Elementary provides an environment for
excellence in academics and character building. Our educational
environment promotes thoughtful inquiry, fosters innovation,
develops social interaction skills, and stimulates excitement about
teaching and learning.
We offer many programs that help students to
learn and experience success:

An active PTA provides support and
encouragement. Our PTA does fundraisers to support eh following activities:
- WatchDOG program
- AR Rewards
- Movie Night
- Literacy Activities
- Music Program
- Equipment
New staff this year include Kelly Hoskins (5th grade), Summer Jark (5th grade), and Chelsey Weigel (orchestra).
Education is a partnership between parents and
school. Parent involvement is encouraged at Simmons Elementary.
We always welcome visitors at Simmons
Elementary. Upon your arrival, at the school, please stop in the
office to sign in and receive a visitor badge.

7:45 – 4:00.
